About

I am an entertainment industry and media photographer that specializes in music photography. I have been mostly a self- taught photographer raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, who has been photographing in the field for well over 20+ years. I started out with doing High school and college photography classes and lots of workshops. Over the years I have been doing photography full and part time, because I have two college degrees in other fields. I have been branching out over the years to do more media promotion and some booking for select clients as well.

Sometimes I wonder if I am truly so unique in this day and age of digital photography and so many photographers out there now doing photography. I think what may set me apart from other photographers is not just that I can do film, digital, studio and location or even other forms of photography. I feel it is my view of the world and how it relates to photography as not only an art form or as a source of money. Photography to me is viewed as a part of philosophy and science. I look at the humanistic side of an event, a concert or even with my studio and location work. I try to see a story within each photo as I anticipate capturing the moment and the energy that evolves from my eye being in the right place and my thoughts patiently waiting for two different elements to coincide to essential compose a photo. I want the viewer to see so much more in my photos then they would expect, because I like the unexpected in art.

I get fulfillment in life being a social conscious company, helping non-for- profit organizations that need photography for an event or promotional materials. I will do photography for non – for profit at low cost or no cost depending upon the organization. My passion for years has been helping Environmental Organizations and Organizations that work with Children and Adults with Special Needs.
